Revenue & Billing Specialist
Location: Corporate HQ – Gilbert, Arizona, United States
Salary Range: $60k-72k annually
PayGround is looking for a Revenue & Billing Specialist to join our finance team in a full-time capacity. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will own invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and key revenue operations that keep our company running smoothly. You’ll also help shape financial processes, support audits, and enable stronger controls as we scale. This is a hybrid role, with in-person days at our Gilbert, AZ office.

Responsibilities
Billing & Accounts Receivable
- Create, validate, and send invoices (manual and automated, with Dev support).
- Perform pricing audits to ensure billing accuracy. Partner with the sales team to ensure documentation is in place supporting pricing.
- Verify client payments monthly, follow up on uncollected balances, and resolve aging invoices.
- Monitor the AR email inbox and handle client communications regarding billing.
- Become primary subject matter expert for new billing tool:
- Build clients and billing profiles.
- Lead migration project to new tool.
- Maintain strong knowledge of pricing, packages, and revenue strategy.
Month End and Audit Support
- Support month-end close, with emphasis on revenue-related processes.
- Prepare schedules and reconciliations to support the annual audit.
- Contribute to improved year-round processes to streamline audits.
Other Accounting and Administrative
- Calculate margin by customer & other KPI’s
- Calculate revenue share, affiliate commissions and internal sales commissions
- Other accounting and admin duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with ability to work well in a cross functional matrix environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment
- Previous billing and A/R experience
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a business-related field or equivalent training/work experience
- Knowledge of healthcare, payments, or SaaS industries
