Graphic Designer – Contractor

PayGround is seeking a skilled contract graphic designer to create slides, graphics, social media content and newsletters, all aligned with our established brand guidelines. This temporary position will cover mid-May through mid-August, while our graphic designer is on maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will have formal training in graphic design and a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise. You will report to the VP of Customer Experience and collaborate closely with the Marketing Content Specialist to ensure consistency and quality in all visual content.

Responsibilities

• Respond to graphic design needs from the team while staying consistent with our existing branding and already established format
• Design for Slides presentations, social media graphics, newsletters, icons, graphics for emails, etc.
• Contractor – 8-10 hours per week, rate is $40/hour
• Contract timeframe is approximately mid-May until mid-August (12-14 weeks total)

Qualifications

• Ability to work within our existing environment in Slack, Google Drive and Trello
• Knowledge and expertise of Adobe programs – InDesign, Illustrator, Figma
• Strong understanding of design principles, with expertise in page layout using InDesign and creating iconography in Illustrator
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must submit a link to portfolio of work
