Marketing Content Specialist
PayGround is looking for a part-time Marketing Content Specialist to help develop, execute and monitor marketing programs across various channels. The ideal candidate is a task-focused individual with high attention to detail that can support a team of marketing and design professionals to drive the PayGround brand in lead generation, brand awareness and product marketing.
This individual will report to the VP of Customer Experience and support various campaigns, platforms and needs of the company.

Responsibilities
- Copywriting for social media, email campaigns, website updates, blogs, newsletters and other marketing materials, as needed
- Support the broader team with copy editing, as needed
- Update design templates with new content – in Google Slides, InDesign, Illustrator
- Manage social media channels – coordinate planning sessions with the VP of Customer Experience, write copy, gather graphics and schedule posts
- WordPress updates and landing page creation, in partnership with designer
- Support the Marketing Department in achieving Marketing KPIs and quarterly goals/rocks
- Ordering and shipping marketing collateral, as necessary
- Part-time – 25 hours per week
- Must be local to the Phoenix metro area and work in the Gilbert, AZ office a few days a week (hybrid)
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up or small company environment
- Efficient with programs such as Salesforce, Pardot, Zoom, Google Workspace, Trello and the ability to learn new technologies
- Some knowledge of Adobe programs – InDesign, Illustrator, Figma
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital and email marketing
- Proficient copy editing skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Short format copywriting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on content creation
