PayGround is a high-growth HealthTech/Fintech company on a mission to modernize the fragmented healthcare payment landscape. We are building the “digital wallet of healthcare,” allowing patients to consolidate and pay medical bills through a single, intuitive interface.

We are seeing rapid growth and so we are maturing our Product Organization to prioritize elite execution and platform scalability. We are seeking a Product Analyst to own the “last mile” of our product delivery engine. This is a high-leverage role focused on technical requirements, backlog health, and the operational integrity of our development lifecycle.

About the Role

In the Product Organization at PayGround, we operate with clear mission horizons. While our CPO defines the long-term strategic vision and our PMs manage market discovery and stakeholder outcomes, the Product Analyst owns the day-to-day execution. You are the “COO of the Backlog,” ensuring that every feature we ship is technically sound, rigorously tested, and aligned with our core data models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Architecture: Translate high-level product goals into structured, unambiguous User Stories and Technical Specifications in Jira.

  • Backlog & Sprint Ownership: Own the “Definition of Ready.” You are responsible for backlog hygiene, dependency mapping, and ensuring Engineering has a clear, prioritized path for every sprint.

  • Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Document and validate complex business logic, specifically regarding how patient balances and payment plans reconcile across disparate upstream billing systems.

  • Technical Gatekeeping: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect triage. You serve as the final quality checkpoint, ensuring delivered code meets the rigorous standards of our provider partners.

  • Platform Operations: Support the “Platformization” of PayGround by managing the operational logistics of API integrations and internal admin tools (Nova).

  • Performance Insights: Utilize Pendo and other data tools to monitor feature adoption and ROI. You provide the objective data needed to pressure-test our GTM assumptions and product health.

  • Institutional Knowledge: Build and maintain our internal knowledge base (Confluence), ensuring that critical logic – such as feature sets, user guides and FAQs – is documented and repeatable.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a Product Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Operations, or similar roles. Ideally within Fintech, HealthTech, or a high-growth SaaS startup.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence – also Figma, Lucid, Figjam, Pendo, Monday, Aha, etc.

  • Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to synthesize data and translate complex system requirements into clear, crisp documentation.

  • Attention to Detail: You have an obsessive focus on “the details.” You identify edge cases and logic gaps before they reach development.

  • Agile Expertise: Deep familiarity with Scrum/Agile ceremonies and a proven track record of maintaining high-velocity delivery cycles.

  • Communication: Lean, structured communication style. You can explain complex technical workflows to both engineers and executive leadership.
