Sales Development Representative

This is an ideal role for a performance driven professional, with a results focused mindset and a proven track record of building strong customer relationships and helping implement software solutions into customer workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline of leads through cold-call prospecting, as well as qualifying outbound and inbound generated leads
  • Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Research target accounts to generate potential business opportunities
  • Confidently share product or service information with outside prospects
  • Support marketing campaigns by identifying new contacts within targeted accounts
  • Assist in developing sales tools to support the selling process
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with PayGround’s key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors/advisors
  • Partner with PayGround’s Customer Success team for the customer onboarding process, assisting with the ‘handoff’ from sales to support
  • Help triage customer support requests and route to the appropriate department(s)
  • Partner with leadership and clearly communicate progress on company initiatives to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Maintain up to date information in Salesforce for all sales activities
  • Forecast and track key sales metrics
  • Maintain customer documents in company repositories in accordance with company policies
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
  • Assisting in the gathering of market feedback, to better position the company for future success

Qualifications

You thrive working in a fast-paced, high performing environment and enjoy working on a variety of projects. You have at least one year of experience as a sales person (or similar position) with broad capabilities, including:

  • Exceeding expectations, being a self-starter, and highly motivated to WIN
  • Proven track record as a collaborator and thought leader, working within a cross-functional team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
  • Ability to deliver on both quality and innovation
  • Creative problem solver – be able to define challenges, collect needed information and summarize insightful conclusions to then develop better customer acquisition strategies
  • Well organized time-management, communication and teamwork skills
